Hryhoriy Kozlovsky on Rukh U-13's victory in the UEFA Champions League: this is the top level, a worthy future for Ukrainian football

The pupils of the Rukh U-13 Football Academy, founded by philanthropist and entrepreneur Hryhoriy Kozlovsky, took part in the international Number One Cup tournament. In the final of the competition, which took place in Wroclaw (Poland), Rukh U-13 defeated Portuguese FC Sporting.

Hryhoriy Kozlovsky noted: "Our U-13 Rukh team demonstrated a top level and won the tournament! "Rukh took first place in the group stage, in the 1/4 finals the Yellow and Blacks became the offenders of Porto, in the semifinals they defeated Parma, and in the final they defeated Sporting!"

On the first day of the tournament, the Yellow and Blacks defeated their Czech counterparts from Mlady Boleslav 2-0 thanks to goals by Kochura and Kushnir. Lviv defeated Polish Lechia with the same score, with goals by Kochura and Hrytsiuk.

Rukhiv defeated the Polish team Dobre Miasto with a score of 5-0, with goals scored by Hrytsiuk, Ksiondzik, and Gul, while Horin scored two goals.

On the second day of the competition, Rukh U-13 played the final matches of the group stage. As a result, the Yellow and Blacks brilliantly passed their group, winning four matches in five matches with a goal difference of 11-2. The team's top scorers in the group stage were Shain Kochura and Horin, who scored three goals each.

In the quarterfinals, the wards of Rukh U-13 head coach Oleh Legan faced Porto. In normal time, the game ended in a draw, but in penalty kicks, Rukh defeated the Portuguese with a score of 3:2.

And in the semifinals of the tournament, Lviv played Italian side Parma, winning 3-2.

In the final, Rukh U-13 defeated the Portuguese with a score of 3:2.

Hryhoriy Kozlovsky congratulated the team and coaches on their excellent performance and noted the high level of the Academy's students.
