"How come?" Dynamo footballer threw Russian flags in the trash and spoke about the reaction of Russians
Dynamo Kyiv striker Vladyslav Vanat was greatly surprised when he saw a lot of souvenir flags of Russia at the airport of Yerevan. At the same time, he called the reaction of the citizens of the aggressor country no less unusual, who reacted indifferently to the fact that the footballer simply threw the Russian symbols into the trash can.
Vanat told about it in an interview with YouTube-channel SportArena, recalling the incident after the match between the youth national teams of Ukraine and Armenia in the qualifying for Euro-2023. According to the Dynamo player, there were many Russians at the Yerevan airport that day, to whom he decided to clearly demonstrate his attitude towards the aggressor country.
"I was looking at souvenirs for my grandparents in duty free. I saw Russian Federation flags. I thought, how come? Armenia is not Russia, why are there Russian flags? They are friends there, it's understandable. I told the guys it's going to be a joke. I'm buying the flags. There weren't many, about 5 pieces. I take them and throw in the trash right in front of the Russians. I was expecting some kind of reaction from them, but they just looked, sat down and looked at their phones. Nobody even said anything," Vanat said.
We shall remind you that on July 24, Dynamo Kyiv found out possible opponents in the new draw of the Conference League, where the Kyiv team will start their performances from the third qualifying round.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, former Ukrainian national team player Anatoly Tymoshchuk was jumping for joy after Zenit's victory in the Russian Cup. It was happening while Russian Federation bombed Odesa.
