First finalist of the Champions League has been determined
Inter beat fellow countrymen AC Milan 1-0 in the return leg of the Champions League semi-finals at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium to reach the tournament final. The first match ended with a score of 2-0 in favour of the Blue and Blacks.
In this game, Milan failed to show absolutely anything in attack and deservedly lost. In 90 minutes of playing time, the guests hit the goal only once out of 5 attempts.
In comparison, Inter took 13 shots, hit the target three times and once the goalkeeper failed to save a shot.
In the 74th minute, Romelu Lukaku managed to push the ball through to Lautaro Martinez in the opposition penalty area, and the Inter captain forced Mike Maignan to capitulate with a powerful shot into the near corner.
On Wednesday, May 17, the second semi-final will take place, where Manchester City and Real Madrid will meet.
The final of the 68th season of Europe's premier club football tournament is scheduled for June 10 at Istanbul.
