"Everything that interests Usik": Fury's team lashed out at the Ukrainian, forgetting Tyson's absurd ultimatum

Fury and Usik could fight in December

Unified world heavyweight champion Alexander Usik (20-0, 13 KOs) is only interested in earning as much money as possible for his fight with Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs). That's the reason why the Ukrainian refused to hold the fight on April 29 and now is determined to organize a show in Saudi Arabia.

That was the opinion of Frank Warren, the promoter of Roma King, as they call the British boxer, in an interview with talkSPORT Fight Night. He demanded from Usik's team not to make a greedy man out of his client, although it was Tyson who gave the Ukrainian an ultimatum condition to distribute the fee in the ratio of 70% to 30% in his favor.

"All Usik is interested in is getting a big fee and fighting for big fees in Saudi Arabia. I don't blame him for that. I understand that, but don't make Tysonv a greedy man. You go to Saudi Arabia because they will pay a lot of money there. Here's the thing. If you get paid three or four times the money, call it greed or good business or whatever, but that's not Tyson Fury's problem. That's why Usik didn't want to fight Tyson Fury in Britain," Warren said.

Recall that Usik is scheduled to make a mandatory defense on August 26 in a fight against Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs). Also we know, that in December Saudi Arabia intends to organize Usik-Fury and Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) - Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) fights in the same fight night. The media has published the boxers' fees for the big show. The total amount will be at least $250 million. That said, Anthony has already confirmed his fight against Deontay.

Earlier, Tyson called Usik an ugly coward and expressed his readiness to fight the Ukrainian already in the summer. In addition, he accused the Ukrainian of greed, which led to the disruption of the fight on April 29. And Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn expressed confidence that Fury won't fight until the winter.

At a press conference in Tenerife, Tyson Fury recently noted a boorish prank against Alexander Usik. He also promised to destroy the Ukrainian champion.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Alexander Usik said that he was going to have a fight with Tyson Fury. Also, the Ukrainian boxer accused his British rival of lying.
