Dynamo officially transferred the world champion to a Polish club
Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Serhiy Buletsa will spend the next season at Zagłębie football club from Lubin. Last season, the team finished 9th in the elite division of the Polish championship.
Buletsa became the ninth Ukrainian in the Polish Extraliga. The 24-year-old midfielder, who won the U-20 World Cup in 2019, is a graduate of Dynamo Kyiv.
He spent the last two years on loan at Zorya Luhansk. His last season was really productive. In 30 games, he scored seven goals and made nine assists.
"Serhiy will increase the rivalry in attack. He is a player who can successfully play both in the classic top ten and on the wings. Despite his young age, he has already played many matches in the top division of Ukraine, and the last season in the UPL was really successful for him. We are very pleased that he will spend the next year in our team. Welcome to Lubin, and we wish you good luck," said Zagłębie's sporting director Petro Burlikovsky.
Back in early July, it became known that Dynamo head coach Mircea Lucescu was not interested in Buletsa's services.
Serhiy put in the best performance of his career, becoming one of the top 5 best players in the Premier League in terms of goal + pass, and the Romanian specialist sees no place for him in his team.
