Crumbling and rotting: The Sun publishes "shock pics" of Tyson Fury's UK mansion

Former world boxing champion Tyson Fury faced serious setbacks when trying to create the perfect home for his family. The 36-year-old boxer bought an old mansion in Cheshire a few years ago with the intention of demolishing it and building a new six-bedroom one that was to be a true architecture wonder.

However, his reconstruction plans were dashed after he ran into unexpected obstacles.

According to The Sun, recent photos of Fury's Cheshire mansion show that the once majestic home now looks horrible. The roof is caved in, the lawns are overgrown, and the building itself is crumbling and rotting.

Construction work on the site was stopped, and the mansion is in need of serious repair.

Fury planned to install a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and home theater. However, his ambitious plans were ruined when a colony of bats was discovered in the attic. This forced the boxer to apply for a special license from Natural England to ensure the preservation of protected animals.

In addition, he was informed that birds that might fly to his pond and fruit trees could pose a danger to aircraft at Manchester Airport, located nearby. Moreover, a number of requirements were put forward to improve biodiversity on the site, including creating bird nesting habitat and allowing hedgehogs to move through garden fences. One of the local council's departments also demanded that the house be moved to avoid damaging an old oak tree growing on the site.

Due to all these complications, Fury was forced to abandon his plans to demolish the old house and limit himself to a large-scale reconstruction of the existing building, adding several outhouses and a basement with a game and a music room.

However, despite the permit, the condition of the building has not improved, and new photos show that the site is in a terrible state.

On top of all these difficulties, the Fury family faced legal problems when it was discovered in 2023 that they had been renting out parking on their land without paying £82,166.85 to Cheshire East Council. John Fury, Tyson's father, appeared in court in Chester to defend his sons, saying they had not broken the law. Nevertheless, the court ordered the brothers to pay the debt and court costs, which totaled almost £100,000.

Meanwhile, the Fury family lives in their new home in Morecambe, which they bought in 2020 for £1.7 million.

This luxurious mansion with golden curtains, huge chandeliers and a red marble kitchen became the new home for Tyson, Paris and their children. Expectations for the Cheshire home were never met, and now the property stands abandoned, while the family continues to enjoy life in their new, more modern home.
