A British fan tried to snatch Ukrainian flag from an Armed Forces soldier after the weigh-in ceremony for Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) on the eve of the May 18 fight. The defender of our country was walking with the boxer's team when one of the fans aggressively rushed in his direction.
The video was posted on his Facebook page by journalist Yevhen Trukhanov. The media representative noted that the Briton was very lucky that he did not manage to take away the Ukrainian flag, otherwise he would have been in serious trouble.
"Our soldier almost had his flag pulled out of his hands after the weigh-in ceremony between Usyk and Fury. It's a good thing he didn't. I'm sure he would have been very sorry... Because the guys from Usyk17 Promotions and K2 Promotions Ukraine, along with the security, were there," Trukhanov wrote.
