A cousin of Dynamo Kyiv player Mykyta Burda (who plays on loan at Luhansk club Zorya) died in the war with the Russian occupants. Dmytro's death is reported by the Bilo-Syni press service

From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the 25-year-old hero defended Mariupol. At the end of March last year, Dmytro last contacted his family and then went missing. As it became known later, the soldier died around these dates.

After analyzing the remains, it turned out that the DNA of the body matched that of Dmytro's father. The family has only now been able to properly bury the body of the fallen soldier.
