President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the country's immediate international plans. He said that the government is preparing new defence solutions for our country.
The head of state said this during his evening video address. According to him, it concerns various areas of security.
"We are preparing new defence solutions for Ukraine - this applies to air defence, aviation, and our advance on the ground," the president said.
He also said that the government is preparing for the NATO summit in Vilnius.
"We are preparing real political content for the NATO summit in Vilnius. We are preparing a package of security guarantees for our country on its way to the Alliance. We are doing everything to bring the EU's political decision on membership for Ukraine closer. We are preparing a peace summit based on the Ukrainian peace formula," the guarantor said.
Zelenskyy, who is on an official visit to Moldova on June 1, met with his Romanian counterpart Klaus Iohannis. The politicians discussed further cooperation and assistance to Ukraine amid Russia's continued large-scale attacks.
