An American delegation has arrived in Kyiv to discuss Ukraine's recovery. It is headed by U.S. Special Representative for Economic Recovery Penny Pritzker.
This was reported on Twitter by US Ambassador Bridget Brink. According to her, the delegation also includes American businessmen.
"A very warm welcome to Kyiv to Penny Pritzker and U.S. private sector leaders. Today, we will hold meetings to accelerate U.S. business investment in Ukraine to help it recover," the diplomat wrote.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, back in December, the Financial Times reported that the EU would propose to use the proceeds from the frozen assets of the Russian Central Bank to finance Ukraine. According to sources, the European Commission approved the plan. It is expected that up to 15 billion euros will be transferred to Ukraine.
It has become known that Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is confident that Ukraine will definitely receive money from the West for post-war reconstruction from Russia's frozen assets. Moreover, he claims that the first money will be provided before the end of the full-scale war.
