Ukrainians arrive in Paris.
The 33rd Summer Olympic Games will start in the French capital of Paris on Friday, July 26. For the first time in history, the official opening ceremony will take place on a river rather than a stadium. The organizers decided to hold the show on the Seine, with the parade of athletes taking place on boats.
For now, the athletes are settling in at the Olympic Village. The first Ukrainian athletes have also arrived in Paris. In total, 140 athletes represent our country and will compete in 26 disciplines. Fans have high hopes for medals in Greco-Roman wrestling, judo, and high jump. In addition, the Blue and Yellows are taking part in the Olympic football tournament for the first time.
