Usyk was demanded to end his career

Former world middleweight champion Carl Froch insists that absolute world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has achieved everything in his career and has nothing left to prove. Froch, in the podcast The Verdict with George Groves on talkSPORT, said that it's time for the Ukrainian to hang up his gloves.

"I think the only thing Usyk will do is retire. Or he'll have a rematch and then retire. He has nothing more to prove. He has beaten Anthony Joshua twice, and now he has beaten Tyson Fury. To me, he is the greatest fighter of his generation. Usyk is the main one, he's the leader. When you look back at this generation of heavyweights, you will say: "Oleksandr Usyk is the main one, he dominated," Froch said.

The former boxer emphasized that Usyk should retire from the professional ring.

"In my opinion, he should retire, he's done everything he needs to do, earned enough money, mastered the game, and finished his boxing career. There is nothing more to do. The absolute champion in the first heavyweight division, the absolute heavyweight champion, 37 years old, approaching 40," the British expert summarized.
