The match took place in Saudi Arabia

WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) defeated British boxer Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) to defend his titles. The seventh fight of the Ukrainian in the super-heavyweight division ended with a victory - 116:112, 116:112, 116:112.

The first round began in a kind of reconnaissance, where both boxers pressed with jabs, trying to find weaknesses in each other's defense. Oleksandr tried to organize a lunging punch, but in general, the starting period passed without attacks.

In the second three minutes, Tyson took the center of the ring, with Usyk fluttering around him. Oleksandr rushed to attack, struck and immediately bounced back. Toward the end of the round, Fury also tried to respond. He hit the target once, but the Ukrainian didn't even twitch.

The third round began with Tyson Fury pressing, trying to push our compatriot to the ropes. The British heavyweight looked noticeably more powerful, but Usyk wasn't flinching, he worked on his feet. Oleksandr was punching Fury in the chest and stomach, not focusing on the head. The Ukrainian's coach advised him during the break, "Punch and break the distance."

In the fourth round, Usyk landed a precise left hand to the chin of the 206-centimeter Briton. Tyson also landed a few powerful punches, clinching the Ukrainian.

In the fifth round, Usyk missed a dangerous uppercut. The boxer was forced to "cycle" for several minutes, avoiding the punches. Tyson was working as the number one, punching Oleksandr over and over again.

The middle of the distance did not affect the pace of the fight too much. Fury continued to occupy the center of the ring. Usyk tried to catch his opponent on the move. Tyson didn't throw any punches, unlike our boxer, who worked in series. Several of them landed on the Gypsy King's beard.

The seventh round was steady. There was a cautious positional fight. Usyk tried to break the distance by landing several punches.

Fury couldn't keep up the pace and the Ukrainian boxer's trainer advised him to speed up, focusing on direct punches. Oleksandr forced his opponent to spend his energy running around the ring.

The 9th three-minute round began with both sides exchanging attacks. The Ukrainian fighter tried to hit the body and get out of the clinch, hitting Tyson's head.

Tyson Fury started the 10th round with another round of attacks, increasingly clinching the Ukrainian. The end of the round was a real battle.

In the last two rounds, both boxers did their best to earn decisive points.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko congratulated the Ukrainian champion on his crushing victory.

Volodymyr emphasized the importance of the victory for every Ukrainian. He noted that by defending his championship titles, Usyk once again proved that Ukrainians are ready to fight for what they want despite any difficulties. Zelenskyy compared this victory in the ring to the fight for Ukraine in other areas, from the battlefield to diplomacy, emphasizing that Ukrainians are standing up for what is right on all fronts. He concluded his greetings with the words, "Glory to Ukraine!"
