Tyson is no longer a favorite: bookmakers update bets for the Usyk-Fury fight
British boxer Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) is no longer considered the undisputed favorite in a future fight with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), scheduled for February 17. Boxers are to determine the first absolute world heavyweight champion in the last quarter century.
Bookmakers have made adjustments to their forecasts once again. They have further reduced the chances of the Gypsy King, as the Manchester native is called, to win the fight in Riyadh. Analysts offer to bet on Fury's success with odds of 1.80 (originally it was 1.44).
Bets for Usyk's success are now 2.00 (originally 2.75). The odds for a draw remain unchanged at 15.00. Thus, Fury's chances of success in the fight dropped to 55.5%.
A month before the fight, Riyadh unveiled a special belt that would be awarded to the winner of the confrontation. Its appearance caused outrage among fans.
