Fury plans to hold five fights

The owner of the World Boxing Council (WBC) belt, Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs), has denied rumors that he will not fight Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) and will end his career. The Gypsy King, as the Briton is called, categorically emphasized that he plans to hold five more fights.

Fury said this in a video posted on his Instagram page. The heavyweight from Manchester noted that after the fight with Usyk for the title of absolute world champion in the king's division, he intends to fight Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) and give revenge to Francis Ngannou (0-1, 0 KOs).

"I hear people say that I'm going to end my career or I'm going to do it. I will not end my career. I will have two fights with Usyk - twice for the title of absolute world champion. Then I will fight Joshua. Once or twice, if he wants a rematch after I beat him. And then I'll have a rematch with Ngannou. So this is just the beginning. I'm not going anywhere. No way!" Fury emphasized categorically.

As a reminder, on May 18, the Briton is to fight a Ukrainian. Initially, the fight was supposed to take place on February 17, but the Gypsy King was injured during a sparring session two weeks before the show. Tyson apologized for his injury, and a video of the incident was posted online.

When asked about the fake nature of the injury, Usyk criticized the Gypsy King. In addition, fans reacted angrily to the situation.

The incident was also commented on by Croatian boxer Agron Smakic (20-2, 18 KOs), who dealt Fury the ill-fated blow. But ex-champion Carl Froch called the Briton's injury suspicious.

At the same time, the Ukrainian named the person responsible for postponing the show, but did not blame his opponent for it. The Gypsy King later gave details of how he got the injury. The organizers of the show in Riyadh announced a new date for the Usyk-Fury fight, setting a "draconian condition" for the boxers.

Later, the Briton attacked our compatriot with insults. And the famous Briton Dereck Chisora told us how the fight would end. Meanwhile, the legendary Roy Jones called Oleksandr a victim of the disruption of the fight on February 17.
