"This is not normal": Fury reveals what will happen in Usyk rematch
Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) is not going to drastically change his plan for a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) after his defeat in May. According to the Gypsy King, he will continue to rely on clean boxing and promised to be more focused.
Fury said this on TNT Sports Boxing while watching a replay of the May fight. The British heavyweight noted that all the talk about the need to simply put pressure on Usyk is groundless, as evidenced by the Ukrainian's fights with Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).
"The rematch will be similar. I will do the same thing I did before. I will box. By the way, with my size and weight, it's not normal that I box like this, move well, and slip away from my opponents. So why should I remove this from my plan? I won't. People say that I should just go for Usyk. But if it's so easy, why didn't Joshua do it? He's a big, strong guy. And he was hiding behind the block. Just like Dubois. So I'll move, I'll hit uppercuts, I'll be more focused, I won't do any clowning," Fury said.
