"This is my territory!" Usyk admitted what he told Fury during the fight at a press conference

Unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) admitted that he was ready to fight Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) during a duel of the eyes at a press conference in London where the date of the fight was announced. The Ukrainian boxer noted that his opponent was putting on a show, but the moment he started pushing, he crossed the line.

Usyk spoke about this in an interview with the Boxing King Media YouTube channel. Our compatriot noted that it is impossible for him to talk to Tyson, who is a master at chatter. Oleksandr also added that he respects the Gypsy King, and the fight will show which of them is stronger.

"Yes, it's true. I was ready to fight. Tyson is No. 1 for press conferences. He talks a lot, and it's impossible to talk him out of it. I tried, but it's not realistic for me. He's No. 1 in babbling. It's good for the show. I respect him. But when Tyson Fury started touching me, I told him: "Hey, easy! I'm ready to fight! I'm ready to fight every night, anytime!" For me, a press conference is life, not a show. If you push me, I'm not just going to stand there. Don't touch me, this is my territory! We'll see in the ring," Usyk said.
