There is a star who has already performed at Eurovision: Dmytro Shurov has intrigued with the list of artists who applied for the National Selection

The music producer of the National Selection for Eurovision 2024, Dmytro Shurov, known as Pianoboy, has shared the list of contestants who have applied for participation. Among the artists is a star who has already represented Ukraine at the global competition, but her name has not yet been revealed.

A total of 389 songs were submitted, which could potentially be presented in Sweden next spring. Dmytro Shurov spoke about his impressions of the tracks on the ZhVL program, as reported by TSN.

Among the more than three hundred applications, the music expert has already noted future hits and songs that could top the charts.

"We have 389 applications this year. I'm impressed; I haven't slept for two nights now, thinking about all these 389 applications simultaneously. I want to assure the musicians that I have listened to everything, I hear everything. Sometimes I even want to respond to people personally, so maybe we'll do that. Now I am forming a longlist. Let me say that there are four surefire hits, ten potential hits, and a lot of interesting submissions. I think people will be surprised to hear and see something new," Shurov said.

Most of the participants are young, talented performers who are just at the start of their careers. However, one of the contestants is a well-known artist in Europe and Ukraine.

"There is a person who has already been selected and even went to Eurovision. She submitted a song again. I won't say who she is, because as a music producer, I have to avoid creating unnecessary expectations," the musician said.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that a well-known Ukrainian producer, who collaborates with Olya Polyakova, among others, Mykhailo Yasynskyi, hinted that this year's National Selection for Eurovision 2024 would be stingy with quality performances.
