The SSU exposed an agent of the Russian FSB, who held a high position in the Ukrainian agency. During the investigation, it was established that the Chief of Staff of the SSU Anti-Terrorist Center was working for the enemy.

The traitor was detained on the morning of February 12 by SSU Head Vasyl Malyuk. This was reported by the SSU press service.

According to the sources of OBOZ.UA in the special service, the traitor, who worked for the Russian FSB, was the chief of staff of the Anti-Terrorist Center at the SSU, Colonel Dmytro Kozyura.

According to the head of the SSU, 14 episodes of illegal activity of the "rat" were documented. Malyuk personally was a member of the operational-investigation group that was developing the traitor and led the operation to detain him. At the same time, the SSU Head reported on all stages of the special operation to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

"It was a highly complex development and subsequent multi-stage implementation, during which we used all possible overt and covert forms and methods of our activities, as well as the entire possible palette of operational and technical measures. Using encrypted software bookmarks, we penetrated the traitor's gadgets - mobile terminals and computers. We actually lived with him, conducted audio and video monitoring. In the process, we managed to qualitatively document the traitor's collection and transmission of relevant information to the enemy," Malyuk said.

It is worth noting that the SSU had been passing disinformation to the enemy through the traitor for a long time: first as part of counterintelligence measures, and later - as part of criminal proceedings. Malyuk emphasized that despite the enemy's attempts to use all possible forms and methods of conspiracy, the SSU's self-cleaning continues.

The head of the agency assured that the "rats" would be detected in a timely manner, their criminal activities would be documented and detained. The SSU will also announce the details of this special operation in the near future.

As a reminder, the former head of the Security Service of Ukraine in Crimea, Oleh Kulinich, accused of treason, had access to critical classified data on the country's defense capabilities and was the most valuable agent for the Russian FSB.

Earlier it was reported that the Security Service of Ukraine detained a traitor who was guiding enemy bombs to the positions of Kramatorsk defenders. The man worked for the Russian FSB and conducted reconnaissance near the camouflaged positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
