Fried pies are a truly family dish. Every grandmother and mother knows how to cook them properly. Milk or kefir is often used as a base. But it would be much better to make the dough with cottage cheese.

Ingredients for 10 pieces:

  • cottage cheese - 200 g
  • flour - 250 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • salt, a little sugar
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • butter - 30 g
  • any favorite filling - about 500 g

Method of preparation:

1. Mix everything together for the dough.

2. Knead by hand or in a food processor.

3. The dough should be soft and stick to your hands just a little. If necessary, add another 10-30 grams of flour.

4. Divide into 10 pieces.

5. Flour your hands a little and form patties without rolling them out.

6. Form a flat cake and put the filling.

7. Shape like a dumpling and form a pie.

8. Fry on both sides in a frying pan with vegetable oil over a slightly lower than medium heat.
