The Paris Olympics Organizing Committee has revoked the accreditation of four TASS journalists. The organizers of the 2024 Games cited the decision of the French authorities.

The accreditations of three writing journalists and one photojournalist were revoked. The three correspondents managed to cover the opening ceremony and some of the competitions.

Former Russian Sports Minister Pavel Kolobkov threw a typical tantrum afterwards. The former official is convinced that this happened because the French organizers and the IOC "really don't want to hear the truth" and "are trying their best to hide their mistakes."

"TASS sports journalists have always covered the Olympic Games professionally. Our journalists have gone through all of this, including tough checks, and they were even tougher than usual for Russian journalists. So this is really an attempt to hide really objective information. I dare say that this revocation of accreditations is nothing more than a manifestation of censorship and obstruction of the legitimate activities of journalists," Kolobkov said.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Maguchykh and Ukraine were accused of having nude videos of a Russian athlete on OnlyFans.
