WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) admitted that he is thinking about retirement more and more every day. According to the boxer, who will turn 37 in January, he is approaching the point where he needs to think about another type of activity that he will do after fighting in the ring.

"But every day I think about boxing, about my career, which is still in a good stage. I have a desire, I want to train, I want to box. But let's be realistic. I think I have very little left in big sports," Usyk said on his YouTube channel.

Oleksandr does not hide the fact that he thinks about his future, boxing, life, and the big fight every day.

"When I was going to bed after prayer, I thought, 'Why am I thinking about all this?' If I think about it, for example, or wait for something, it won't work. You just need to do what you have at the moment, but think about some great thing that awaits you," Usyk added.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on September 29, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) signed a contract for a fight for the title of absolute world champion. The media found out that the fight would take place before the New Year or in January.

On October 15, the World Boxing Organization (WBO) decided that interim champion Zhang Zhilei would become the next challenger for the heavyweight title. It was the 40-year-old Chinese who received the priority right to fight the winner of the Usyk-Fury mega-fight.
