If you have some mashed potatoes left over that no one else wants to eat, don't throw them away. You can use it to make a whole new dish – crispy fried balls. It only takes a few minutes to make them.

The idea of making delicious potato balls was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Iryna with the nickname recipes ira. You only need 5 ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • medium potatoes – 4 pcs.
  • starch – 3 spoons
  • salt/pepper
  • dried garlic – 0.5 tsp.
  • some chopped herbs – optional

Method of preparation:

1. You can use ready-made mashed potatoes or boil potatoes with salt.

2. Drain and mash.

3. Add all other ingredients.

4. Stir with a fork.

5. Form balls from the elastic dough. If necessary, moisten your hands with water.

6. Put the balls in very hot oil.

7. The oil can cover the balls up to half, then you just need to turn them over.

8. Fry for a few minutes.
