International Federation that made fun of Ukraine kicked out of Olympic sport

The IOC President made a loud statement

The President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach said that there will be no boxing under the auspices of the International Boxing Association (IBA) at the 2014 Olympic Games in Paris. On June 22, the IOC deprived the IBA, headed by Russian Umar Kremlev, of the title of world sports organization.

"There will be no boxing under the auspices of the IBA in the Olympic program. Period. We gave them four years, but they did not fulfill the conditions we set. The way they are behaving now gives no hope for improvement," the IOC chief was quoted as saying by Inside the Games.

Bach added that financial transparency and governance at the IBA are "deteriorating" and that the judging "does not meet the standards that can be expected of an Olympic sport."

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the IBA ignored the CAS decision to ban the presidential election and re-elected Kremlev. As a result, the ardent fan of dictator Vladimir Putin lifted the ban on Russians from boxing tournaments and imposed sanctions on Ukraine.

The IBA banned our country's junior national team from competing under the national flag at the European Championships. In response, our team announced a boycott and withdrew from the competition. The legendary Oleksandr Usyk supported his compatriots and appealed to the Kremlev.
