Usyk beat Fury

Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) lost to Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) because he was physically unprepared for the fight. The Gypsy King, as the British boxer is called, was unable to build on his success in the middle of the fight on May 18, when he caught the Ukrainian with an uppercut.

This opinion was expressed in an interview with the Boxing King Media YouTube channel by renowned trainer Dominic Ingle, talkSport reports. The specialist, who is considered a guru in the UK, emphasized that Fury would not have lost to Usyk if he had been in better shape.

"I think Tyson was physically ready enough. Because there were only two or three rounds in the middle of the fight when he got Usyk on the upper floors, when he put the Ukrainian in a difficult position. It's a matter of maintaining the pace of the fight, you know. Tyson couldn't do that. It means he wasn't ready. Tyson Fury would have beaten Usyk if he was at his best. So I don't believe Fury was physically prepared enough," Ingle said.

We would like to remind you that in the first fight , Usyk defeated Fury by split decision - 114:113, 113:114, 115:112 - and became the absolute world heavyweight champion.

A month after the fight , the Ukrainian was forced to give up the International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt, which Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs) fought for on September 21.

Later it became known that the IBF left Usyk no choice. This situation angered the head of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Dana White. The Ukrainian himself commented on his decision for the first time. Fury and Usyk will rematch on December 21. The fantastic prize money for the second fight is already known.

Our compatriot shared his expectations from the second fight with Tyson and responded to the accusations of cheating during the fight with Fury on May 18. In addition, Oleksandr commented on the injury he received in the fight.

The Ukrainian announced his radical plan to continue his career after the rematch with Tyson. Usyk named the most difficult moment of the fight with the Briton. Our boxer also spoke frankly about his opponent. Coach Sergey Lapin told us what he expects from his fighter' s rematch with the Briton.
