Shane Fury, the brother of former champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs), admitted that after watching the fight with Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs), he changed his decision about the winner. On May 18 in Riyadh, Usyk defeated Fury and won the WBA, WBO, IBF and WBC heavyweight belts.

"After the fight, I went to the ring and told Usyk: "Well done, Usyk, you're a great man, and next time it will be better," because they had a rematch. I was shocked when the verdict was announced. I was confident until the last moment in a positive outcome and thought that Tyson had won, but after watching the fight I realized that Usyk had won. I watched the fight and changed my mind," iFL TV quoted Shane Fury as saying.

The brother of the former champion is sure that the fight was very close, but the rounds that Tyson won, he won with a big advantage and caused serious damage to the Ukrainian.

"And the rounds that Usyk won were less obvious. Until the ninth round, you could give the big rounds to Tyson. In the eighth round, Usyk hit Tyson on the nose, which disoriented him, he lost concentration and got knocked down. This is a heavyweight division, it happens," Shane summarized.
