"He'll just finish him off": the Chinese giant said how the rematch between Usyk and Fury will end

Oleksandr ChekanovNews
Zhilei gave a forecast for the rematch between Usyk and Fury

Chinese super heavyweight Zhang Zhilei (27-2-1, 22 KOs) expressed full confidence in the victory of Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) over Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) in the rematch on December 21. The 41-year-old boxing giant noted that this time the Ukrainian will simply run over his opponent and win even more convincingly than he did on May 18.

Zhilei voiced this opinion in an interview with the BoxNation YouTube channel. The former interim champion according to the World Boxing Organization (WBO) pointed out that in the first fight against Fury, our compatriot acted from a position of strength and found the keys to victory.

"I will say it very simply: still! Usyk will win. In the first fight, he acted as the number one, found his place in the ring and a way to beat Tyson Fury. And if we're talking about a bold prediction, I would say that Usyk will just finish him. He will finish him," Zhilei said.

We'd like to add that a knockout in the rematch between the Ukrainian and the Briton is considered one of the most likely options. Thus, GGBET analysts offer odds of 3.75 for an early victory of our champion for Usyk vs Fury 2.

The day before, Oleksandr and Tyson completed preparations for the fight. The Ukrainian has already arrived in Riyadh, where he was met by his compatriots. In turn, Fury told us how he was going to beat our boxer and close the defeat in May.

On December 1, an epic promo for the rematch between Usyk and Fury was released. It has already been called a disgrace to American boxing companies.

On October 23, Usyk and Fury had their first duel of looks before the second fight. The Ukrainian appeared in an unusual way, changing his image. In addition, he forced his opponent to take an unusual step to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Before that, it became known that Tyson wanted to organize a trilogy with Oleksandr to go down in boxing history. The Briton also accused the Ukrainian of disrupting the timing of the rematch.

As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, it became known that the Ukrainian's rival Sergey Bogachuk, who will fight on the undercard of the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, withdrew from the fight. And a Russian boxer has been spotted in the British training camp.
