Fish in sweet and sour sauce: how to prepare a delicious cold appetizer
If you take fish, onions and bell peppers, as well as add salt and a little magic, you will get an incredibly tasty cold appetizer.
The recipe for fish in sweet and sour sauce was shared by food blogger Anna. On Instagram, she explained how to add a very interesting flavor to this dish.
Ingredients
- hake or pollock - 1 kg
- flour
- onion - 1 pc
- bell pepper - 1 pc
Ingredients for the marinade (200 ml glass)
- water - 1 glass
- sugar - 1 cup
- oil - ½ cup
- tomato sauce - 400 g
- vinegar - ½ cup
- salt
- pepper
- favorite spices
Method of preparation
1. Wash, dry and cut the fish into small pieces.
2. Roll in flour and fry on both sides until golden brown.
3. Thinly slice the onion and bell pepper.
4. Put in the pan in layers: onion/pepper - fish - onion/pepper - fish.
5. Prepare the marinade. Boil water, sugar, oil, tomato sauce, salt, and spices.
6. Add vinegar and bring to a boil again.
7. Pour the hot marinade over the fish and let it cool completely.
8. Put it in the fridge overnight.
