First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska has arrived in the UK. There, she has already met with the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Lord David Cameron, the Minister of Health and Social Care, Victoria Atkins, and visited the Amazon Web Services (AWS) EMEA headquarters in London. Traditionally, the President's wife's stylists have chosen a striking outfit for important international events.

As always, Zelenska's look managed to combine classic severity, which conveys the seriousness of her intentions, with elegance, which adds the right amount of softness and femininity. The first lady shared photos from her trip on her Telegram channel.

It's no secret that the clothes of politicians, first ladies, or influencers are another important aspect of diplomacy. Quite often, the nuances of an outfit, including symbolic jewelry, can say much more than words. That is why Zelenska was seen in the UK wearing a checkered shirt. As you know, the plaid print has Scottish roots. This simple pattern was typical for the clothes of British aristocrats, kings, and lords.

In this way, Zelenska has paid tribute to the long history of the UK and demonstrated her respect for the traditions of the United Kingdom.

So, the first lady of Ukraine chose a restrained checkered shirt in black and white colors made of thick fabric. A voluminous bow was formed around the throat. It was reported that this was a product from the world-famous Saint Laurent brand.

Zelenska integrated the shirt in tandem with a classic black suit. It consisted of a fitted jacket and palace pants, one of the most popular trends of recent seasons. The belt with a golden buckle made the waist more expressive.

Under the wide trousers, you could see black pumps, also in black.

Zelenska did not change her traditional neutral makeup in peachy shades without flashy accents. Her voluminous, straight hair, styled to one side, also harmoniously fit into the overall picture.

Minimalistic, but at the same time very catchy gold earrings were a good addition.

As OBOZ.UA wrote, earlier Olena Zelenska welcomed her colleague, the first gentleman of Denmark, Bo Tengberg, the husband of the current Danish president, Mette Frederiksen, to Kyiv. For the meeting, the wife of the Ukrainian guarantor once again chose a symbolic piece of jewelry. This time it was a rare vintage brooch in the form of a flower bud in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
