You haven't cooked pasta like this before! A delicious and unusual dessert made from this product
For most of us, pasta is a side dish, or a savory dish with sauce and cheese. But what about a sweet pasta dish?
Food blogger Valeria Veligura shared an interesting recipe for sweet pasta on Instagram. She assures you that you have never cooked pasta like this before.
Ingredients
- Rigatoni pasta - 400 gr
- Oil - for frying
- Mandarin juice - 125 ml
- Mandarin zest - 1 pc
- Sugar - 60 gr
- Corn starch - 20 g
- Water - 100 ml
- Egg yolks - 3 pcs
- Butter - 125 gr
- Coconut flakes - for serving
Method of preparation
1. Punch the peeled tangerines in a blender and strain the juice through a sieve.
2. Add the zest, bring to a boil and turn off the heat.
3. Combine sugar and starch separately. Add water and egg yolks and mix.
4. Combine with the juice and zest, put on medium heat and cook until thickened. Cover with plastic wrap and let cool at room temperature.
5. Fry the pasta in well-heated vegetable oil until golden brown. Put it on a towel, let it drain and cool.
6. For the cream, beat the soft butter with a mixer for 3 minutes.
7. Gradually (2 tbsp) add the mandarin oranges and beat until smooth.
8. Fill the "tubes" with cream and garnish with coconut flakes on both sides.
