Bell pepper is a delicious and juicy vegetable that can be found in stores at any time of the year. It can be used to make a hearty and budget-friendly lunch, as it will be a good idea to stuff them with meat.

The idea of cooking juicy stuffed peppers for lunch was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Natalia with the nickname nata.cooking .

Ingredients:

  • large pepper - 3-4 pcs
  • chicken fillet - 400-500 g
  • tomatoes - 1 medium
  • cheese for the filling - 50 g + 100 g for the crust
  • carrots - 1 pc
  • onion - 1 pc
  • sour cream - 2-3 tbsp
  • salt/pepper, greens

Method of preparation:

1. Wash the peppers.

2. Cut lengthwise into two halves and carefully remove the seeds.

3. Leave the green tips on - this to made to ensure that the peppers keep their shape and the filling does not fall out.

4. For the filling, combine finely chopped chicken fillet (minced meat is fine), fried onions and carrots, chopped tomato, grated hard cheese, greens, spices and sour cream.

5. Put the peppers in a baking dish, fill and drizzle with a little oil.

6. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

7. Sprinkle cheese on top 10-15 minutes before the end of cooking and bake until crisp.
