What spices make the perfect fried potatoes: a full list
Spices should be selected carefully. They are used to reveal and complement the flavor of the dish, not overpower it. That's why it's important to be able to choose only the right spices that will perfectly match a particular dish.
For example, chef Poppy O'Toole told the Mirror what spices should be added to fried potatoes. Thanks to them, the usual dish can become simply unsurpassed.
According to her, potatoes go well with salt. It is this seasoning that emphasizes their natural flavor. But when it comes to others, O'Toole recommends:
- smoked paprika
- granulated garlic
- ground cumin
- ground coriander
- lemon juice
- oil
Poppy says that by mixing all these ingredients together, you get the perfect fried potatoes that will impress anyone. You can also add thyme and rosemary.
