What delicious salad to make from chicken liver: a dish for every day and for a festive table

Liver is a very affordable and nutritious product. This meat can be used to make many festive and everyday dishes that all family members will enjoy. A fairly universal solution would be to make a salad.

The idea of making a hearty salad with chicken liver is published on the Instagram page of the food blogger tastystories.feed. All the ingredients are quite simple.

Ingredients:

  • liver (mine from rabbit) - 200 g
  • salted or pickled cucumbers - 2 large
  • champignons - 250 g
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • Ghee oil
  • salt, pepper
  • Greek yogurt or mayonnaise - 2 tbsp with a slide
  • French mustard - 1 tsp with a slide

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the liver into medium slices,

2. Chop the onion, grate the carrots.

3. Cut the mushrooms into slices.

4. Heat Ghee in a frying pan.

5. Fry the carrots and onions until soft.

6. Add the mushrooms and fry until golden brown.

7. Heat Ghee in a second frying pan.

8. Fry or boil over high heat quickly until golden brown. About 2 minutes on each side. Turn off the heat and cover with a lid. Leave it until you are ready to assemble the salad.

9. Combine the fried vegetables, chopped pickles, and fried or boiled liver.

10. Season with yogurt with French mustard or mayonnaise + salt.

11. Mix and serve.
