Tender meatballs in sauce: what meat is better to choose
Meatballs are an extremely tasty and easy-to-prepare main dish that everyone likes. They disappear from the table almost instantly, and a sincere smile appears on the faces of people who are lucky enough to try them.

Ingredients
- minced beef - 500 g
- rice - 150 g + 350 ml of water
- onions - 3 pcs
- salt and pepper
- pepper
- oil
- semolina - 50 g
Ingredients for the filling
- tomatoes in their own juice - 300 g
- carrots - 2 pcs
- onions - 2 pcs
- salt
- water
- sugar
Method of preparation
1. Cook the meatballs. Put the rice in a saucepan, cover with water, salt and cook at a low temperature with the lid closed for 15 minutes. Then turn off the stove and leave the rice under the lid until it cools completely.
2. Peel and chop the onion into small cubes.
3. Fry the onion in vegetable oil until it is lightly browned.
4. Combine the minced meat, rice and onion. Season with salt and pepper and mix.
5. Form meatballs, roll in semolina and fry in vegetable oil on each side until golden brown for a few minutes.
6. Cut the carrots into strips and the onion into small cubes.
7. Fry the onions and carrots in oil. Add salt and stir.
8. Add the tomatoes in their own juice and stir.
9. Pour half of the filling into the bottom of the pan and spread it evenly. Place the fried meatballs on top.
10. Spread the remaining sauce over the meatballs and add 50 ml of water.
11. Cover the pan and cook the meatballs for 15-20 minutes.
