Tender liver roll without mayonnaise: how to season
Liver roll is an original and very tasty type of appetizer that will appeal even to those who hate liver. When properly cooked, it loses its bitterness and specific flavor, resulting in an unbeatable result.
Food blogger Anna Sholkova shared on Instagram how to make liver roll tender and free of mayonnaise. She also showed which filling is best to use so that the roll does not turn out dry.
Ingredients
- Chicken liver - 700 g
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
- Milk - 200 ml
- Flour - 3 tbsp
- Salt
- Pepper
- Large carrot - 1 pc.
- Onions - 3 pcs.
- Garlic - 3 cloves.
- Dill - a bunch
- Cream cheese - 180 g
Method of preparation.
1. Peel the liver and put it in a deep container.
2. Add eggs, milk, flour, salt and pepper. Blend with a blender until smooth.
3. Bake the pancakes on both sides until done.
4. Grate the onion on a fine grater, cut the onion into small cubes. Fry in a frying pan with oil.
5. Add salt, pepper and garlic. Mix thoroughly.
6. Add chopped dill and cream cheese. Mix again.
7. Put the filling on the pancakes placed on the cling film, and the pancakes, respectively, so that they overlap each other.
8. Tuck the edges of the pancakes and form a roll.
9. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
