Tender and juicy hake under cheese crust: the perfect recipe for baked fish
Hake is a very tender and dietary fish. In addition, it has very few bones. Therefore, it is perfect for baking in the oven. Sour cream, mustard, and lots of grated cheese will add extra juiciness.
Food blogger Olha Ryabenko shared how to bake hake deliciously on her Instagram page. The whole process will take up to an hour.
Ingredients:
- hake - 3 pcs
- sour cream - 3 tbsp
- grain mustard - 2 tsp
- salt, pepper - to taste
- dried rosemary and basil - 1 tsp
- onion - 2 pcs
- garlic - 2 cloves
- water - 50 ml
- hard cheese - 100 g
- parsley
- oil for greasing the mold
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the hake, cut off the fins and cut it into fillets.
2. Cut each fillet into small pieces.
3. Put everything in a deep bowl.
4. Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Add to the fish.
5. Grate the garlic.
6. Add sour cream, mustard, salt, pepper and dried herbs.
7. Mix everything thoroughly and leave for 20 minutes.
8. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and put the fish and onions in it. Pour in water.
9. Grate the cheese and top the fish with it.
10. Cover with foil and bake at 180 for 20 minutes.
11. Remove the foil and bake at 220 for 10 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
12. Sprinkle with parsley.
