The marbleized cheese casserole is not only delicious but also a very attractive pastry. To achieve the desired effect and make a pattern, you need to prepare two types of dough and have a regular toothpick. This delicacy will impress all your guests.
The idea of making a cottage cheese marble casserole was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Nataliia with the nickname nata.cooking. The pastry is moderately sweet.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese – 700 g
- eggs – 4 pcs
- sour cream – 250 g
- milk – 50 ml
- vanilla sugar – 10 g
- corn starch – 30 g
- coconut flakes – 30 g
- cocoa – 1-2 tbsp (30-50 ml of milk, if necessary)
- chocolate – 40 g
Method of preparation:
1. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, cornstarch or semolina, eggs, sour cream, and milk to the cottage cheese.
2. Beat everything thoroughly with a blender until smooth.
3. Next, divide the mass into 2 equal parts, add coconut flakes to one, and cocoa and chopped chocolate to the other.
4. Both masses should have the same viscosity, so if the chocolate mass becomes thicker when you add cocoa, add milk.
5. Cover the baking dish with parchment paper and put both curd masses, alternating one after the other. Draw a pattern with a skewer.
6. Put in the oven at 180 degrees for 40-60 minutes until golden brown.
7. The casserole will rise during cooking, but then settle.
8. Check the readiness with a wooden stick – it should be dry.
9. It is best to let the casserole cool completely in the refrigerator overnight before eating.
