Simple mushroom pie that is ready in 20 minutes: you don't have to roll out the dough
If you don't have much time to prepare a variety of pastries, use puff pastry. You can buy ready-made dough in the store. You just need to put it on a baking sheet and add a delicious filling. Mushrooms are a great option.
The idea of making a simple puff pastry pie with mushrooms was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Polina with the nickname polli_cooking. The filling is very juicy because it contains onions.
Ingredients:
- 1-2 onions
- 300 g. mushrooms
- 20 g. butter
- Provance herbs, salt
- dill/parsley
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 150 g. cheese
- 1 egg yolk
Method of preparation:
1. Cut onions into strips.
2. Wash mushrooms well (peel if necessary) and chop them.
3. Fry onions in butter for 3-4 minutes.
4. Add mushrooms, spices, salt, and herbs and cook for another 5-8 minutes.
5. Put the thawed dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
6. Cover the base with cheese and spread the mushroom filling.
7. Put it in the oven preheated to 190 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
