Perfect marshmallows: how to cook to make sure everyone likes it
Marshmallow is a confection that is adored by everyone from young children to adults. It can be eaten plain, or added to cocoa, or roasted over a fire, where it grows in size and changes its taste completely.
On Instagram, a food blogger with the nickname receptuk ua told us how to make marshmallows at home so that everyone would definitely like them. It turns out that there is nothing complicated about this process.
Ingredients
- Gelatin - 30 gr
- Water - 100 ml
- Sugar - 250 gr
- Water - 100 ml
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation
1. Pour gelatin with water and leave to swell.
2. Add sugar, water, and lemon juice to a saucepan. Turn on the heat and cook the syrup for 10 minutes.
3. Grease a mold for solidification with vegetable oil.
4. Add gelatin to the syrup and mix well.
5. Beat with a mixer until the mass increases in size and thickens.
6. Pour the mixture into the mold and leave it to harden.
7. Mix the starch with the powdered sugar and roll in the mixture. Cut into pieces and serve.
