Noodle pancake: a perfect alternative to pasta

This is a recipe for noodle pancake. This dish has been known to many since childhood. Mothers used to cook this dish, serving it like regular noodles, or adding it to soup instead of vermicelli.

In recent years, noodle pancake has lost their popularity, but it has not lost their great taste. On Instagram, food blogger Yulia Senych reminded us how to cook this dish in a way that will make your loved ones delve into memories.

Ingredients for noodles

  • milk - 500 ml
  • eggs - 3 pcs
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • starch - 1 tbsp
  • flour - 220 g
  • oil - 2-3 tbsp
  • salt - a pinch
  • butter for frying

Ingredients for roast

  • carrots - 1 pc
  • onion - 1 pc
  • ham
  • mushrooms

Method of preparation

1. Combine eggs with sugar and salt and add half of sifted flour. Mix thoroughly.

2. Pour in half of milk, mix and then add the other half of flour. Mix again and pour in the rest of milk, as well as oil and starch.

3. Fry the pancakes over medium heat on each side for 3-5 minutes.

4. Roll 2-3 pancakes up and slice thinly.

5. Prepare the roast. Dice the onion, grate the carrots on a coarse grater, and chop the ham and mushrooms randomly. Fry everything until soft.

6. Combine the noodles with the roast and serve.
