Light dinner after a New Year's feast: what to cook from leftovers in the fridge
Usually, after celebrating the New Year, people eat the remaining food for a few more days. After that, most people feel the need to reduce the load on the body.
Then it's time to think about preparing a light dinner, which is so necessary for the body after the New Year's feast. Famous chef Jamie Oliver shared a recipe for just such a dish on YouTube. He told how to make bolognese cheese buns.
Ingredients
- Bolognese – 500 g
- Camembert – 100 g
- Buns – 4 pcs.
- Thyme – 4 sprigs
- Garlic – 2 cloves.
- Olive oil
Method of preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
2. Heat the bolognese in a frying pan over medium heat, stirring from time to time. Dilute the sauce with a little water if necessary.
3. Cut off the tops of the buns and set them aside, then use a small knife to help remove the soft middles of the buns. Peel and halve the garlic cloves, rub the cut sides of each bun on the inside of the bun, then place the buns on a baking sheet, tear the soft middles around them, and place the bun lids side by side.
4. Finely chop the garlic and spread it on a baking sheet, in and around the buns, peel the thyme leaves, then drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add a quarter of the cheese to each bun and bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
5. Add the bolognese to each bun and close the lids, using the crispy pieces as croutons.
