Juicy fish cutlets for lunch: what to serve with
Instead of fatty pork cutlets, you can cook fish cutlets. Such products will be a great option for a nutritious lunch. And they are best served with peas.
The idea of cooking juicy fish cutlets for lunch was published on the Instagram page of a food blogger with the nickname valway ka. Instead of flour, it is better to add semolina.
Ingredients:
- fish fillet - 700/800 g
- lard - 150/200 g
- onion - 2-3 pcs.
- garlic - 2-3 cloves
- semolina - 2 tbsp
- eggs - 1 pc.
- salt/pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Chop and combine all the ingredients with spices, beat off.
2. Form patties and roll in flour.
3. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
4. Fry the onions and carrots for the gravy.
5. Add salt, pepper, sugar.
6. Dilute tomato or tomato juice with water.
7. Pour the prepared gravy over the cutlets to cover them.
8. Simmer the cutlets in the gravy for 10 minutes under a lid over low heat.
9. Soak a cup of peas the day before (night/day).
10. Rinse and cover with water to cover the finger from above (1 cm).
11. Cook over low heat, skim off the foam from time to time.
12. After the peas have been cooked, add salt, 2-3 tbsp of oil (turmeric if desired) and blend.
