Many housewives claim that there is nothing complicated about cooking rice. However, to make this cereal tasty, and to separate each grain from the other, you should follow the correct cooking technique.

This is what celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay shared on his YouTube channel. Now your rice will always be perfect.

The first rule of perfect rice is to rinse thoroughly under running cold water. This reduces the amount of starch in the cereal and prevents it from sticking together. Next, add a little oil or butter to the pot in which the rice will be cooked. This will prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom.

The next tip from the chef is to season the rice before you start cooking it. Ramsay adds salt and pepper to the pot right away. You can use any other seasonings to your liking. The main ingredient in rice cooking is water. For one part of the cereal, you should take one and a half parts of water.

Pour cold water over the rice, add spices, and turn on the heat. As soon as the water boils, reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for 10-15 minutes, depending on the type of rice. Then turn off the heat and leave the rice to steam for 10 minutes without opening the lid. Perfect rice is ready!
