How to cook delicious potatoes with mushrooms for lunch: much better than ordinary mashed potatoes
Instead of the usual mashed potatoes for lunch, you can make stewed potatoes with mushrooms and sour cream. Also add plenty of grated cheese and fresh herbs. This technique will take you much less time, and the taste will remind you of the flavorful young potatoes that everyone cooks in the summer.
The idea of cooking hearty potatoes with mushrooms for lunch was published on the Instgaram page of food blogger Vitalina Naumenko (naumenko.vitaa). Mozzarella cheese is very soft and tender, so it is best to add it.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 500 g
- mushrooms - 300 g
- sour cream 20% - 3 tbsp
- mozzarella - 100 g
- onion - 1 small onion
- salt, spices - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the mushrooms and onions.
2. Fry until golden brown for 2 minutes.
3. Add the potatoes, cut into quarters.
4. Add 0.5 cups of water, salt and spices. Keep on the stove until the potatoes are cooked.
5. Add sour cream, herbs, mozzarella.
6. Mix everything well.
7. Cook for another 5 minutes under the lid.
