How to cook a poached egg in a skillet: step-by-step instructions

Step 1. Preparation

Step 2. Heat the water

Pour water into the frying pan so that its level reaches half the height of the molds. Bring the water to a gentle boil - it should boil slightly, but not boil too much.

Step 3. Crack the egg

Gently crack the egg into the silicone mold, being careful not to damage the yolk.

Step 4. Cooking

Put the mold with the egg in hot water and leave it for 3-5 minutes. During this time, the white should be completely set and the yolk should remain liquid.

Step 5. Take out the egg

Carefully remove the mold from the water, and gently remove the poached egg by picking it up with a spoon or pressing lightly on the edges of the mold.

Step 6. Serve

Put the finished poached egg on toast, avocado, or salad – and enjoy the delicate texture and exquisite taste.
