Easy and delicious berry pudding pie

Homemade baked goods have always been and will always be better than store-bought ones. And that's because it's made from the best ingredients and definitely with love.

Food blogger Lisa Hlinska shared how to make a light berry pie on Instagram. The pie includes pudding, which will make its taste simply unique.

Ingredients for sugar dough

  • 62% butter - 110 g
  • egg yolk - 2 pcs
  • sugar - 40 g
  • baking powder - ½ tsp
  • flour - 220 g

Ingredients for berry pudding

  • milk - 600 ml
  • corn starch - 60 g
  • sugar - 70 g
  • vanilla sugar - optional
  • 62% butter - 50 g
  • berries - 140 g

Method of preparation

1. Mix flour with baking powder.

2. Grate the cold butter on a fine grater and mix with the flour mixture. You should get cold crumbs.

3. Mix yolk with sugar and add to the crumbs. Knead the dough.

4. Divide the dough into two parts. Wrap in plastic wrap and put in the freezer for 30 minutes.

5. Mix the following ingredients in a saucepan: cold milk, sugar, vanilla sugar and cornstarch.

6. Put on the stove and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. When the mass begins to boil, cook for another 30 seconds and remove from the stove.

7. Add butter and stir.

8. Take a 5 cm high, 25x18 cm baking dish. Grease it with oil and put a sheet of parchment on the bottom.

9. Grate the cold dough on a fine grater. It will be easier to distribute it.

10. Make small sides. No need to tamp down the dough.

11. Pour half of warm cream over the dough and spread it out.

12. Add berries.

13. Pour the second part of cream on top.

14. Grate the rest of the dough.

15. Bake at 170 degrees for 35-40 minutes (convention mode).

16. Cool and then put in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours to stabilize.
