Delicious and elementary spread in 5 minutes: what to make a quick snack from
A spread is an appetizer that always comes in handy. You can eat it simply on bread or complement the taste of other foods. It all depends on your preferences and imagination. And the dish takes no more than 5 minutes to prepare.
The idea of making a universal spread with butter and herbs was shared by chef Dmytro Chikalo (chikalo official.ua) on his Instagram page. It's also very budget-friendly.
Ingredients:
- butter - 200 g
- bacon - 150 g
- green onions - 70 g
- garlic - 3 cloves
- salt, ground pepper, smoked paprika - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the finely chopped bacon in a well-heated frying pan until the excess fat is melted.
2. Transfer the fried bacon to a napkin or paper towel, as we want a crispy crunch without excess oil.
3. Add finely chopped green onions, spices to taste and chilled bacon to the room temperature butter.
4. Stir everything thoroughly, transfer to a storage container, and refrigerate.
5. The finished butter can be spread on crispy toast or served as an addition to potatoes, pasta or any cereal.
