Better than ordinary cutlets: how to prepare juicy meatballs for lunch
Cooking classic cutlets takes a lot of time. Thus, instead, it's better to make juicy meatballs. You just need to stew them in sauce.
The idea of making juicy meatballs for lunch was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anna Tymoshenko (anna timoshenko13). The dish will be a great addition to pasta, porridge and mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:
- minced meat - 500 g
- rice - 150 g
- onion - 1 pc
- eggs - 1 pc
- salt, meat seasoning, hot red pepper, sweet paprika, dry garlic
- oil for frying
Ingredients for the sauce:
- sour cream - 2 tbsp
- ketchup - 3 tbsp
- flour - 1 tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- black pepper
- water - 400 ml
Method of preparation:
1. Add boiled rice, grated onion, egg, spices and salt to the minced meat.
2. Stir and beat off a little.
3. Form balls with wet hands.
4. Put them in the pan.
5. Fry on each side for several minutes until golden brown.
6. For the sauce, mix sour cream, ketchup, flour, salt, pepper and water.
7. Pour over the meatballs and simmer under the lid for 15 minutes.
