Usyk names the fantastic amount Fury wanted to earn for the fight on April 29
Fury and Usyk failed to agree on a fight
British boxer Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) wanted to earn more than $100 million for his fight against Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) for the title of world heavyweight champion. At the same time, the Gypsy King, as the Manchester native is known, kept putting forward more and more conditions during the negotiations for the fight on April 29.
Usyk himself spoke about this in an interview with the Kyiv Cake YouTube channel. According to our compatriot, he does not put money at the forefront of his mind, and the greatness of a boxer is judged by his achievements, not by the number of zeros in the amount of his fee for the fight.

"Yes, he was talking about some huge millions, that he was a king who was expensive. I'm not sure I can say the amount he was talking about, but I think it's over 100 million. I wrote to him that the greatness of a fighter is not measured by money, millions or tens of millions, the greatness of a fighter is his fights, his way. You earned 100 million, and in a year someone will earn 200 million - everyone will forget about your millions and that's it, but when you beat everyone and have four belts, absolutely everyone will remember it," Usyk said.
