"They won't take it": Dynamo legend gives a sad prediction of the season's results for Kyiv

Sabo assesses Dynamo's level

Dynamo Kyiv will definitely not be among the top two at the end of this season's Ukrainian Premier League, and is unlikely to win even bronze medals. The performance of Mircea Lucescu's men today does not evoke positive emotions and does not allow fans to count on at least local success.

This opinion was expressed by the legendary Kyiv footballer Jozsef Szabo in an interview with FanDay. The former head coach of the team and the national team of Ukraine expressed confidence that Shakhtar Donetsk will once again become the national champion, while Dnipro-1 will take the silver medal.

"The best Dynamo can expect is third place. Kyiv will fight for bronze with Zorya, but it will be difficult for them. Judging by the way Dynamo are playing today, they won't take third place, but I could be wrong. Shakhtar will most likely become the champion, and Dnipro-1 will be second. I don't know what happened to Dnipro-1. They looked good in the first round, but in the second round they failed. Shakhtar returned all their loan players and strengthened with Ukrainians. They have a good midfield and attacking potential. Dynamo can't boast of that," Sabo said.

Earlier, he gave an unequivocal forecast for the match of the 22nd round of the Premier League between Dynamo and Shakhtar, indicating the exact score of the match to be held on April 22. Sabo also named a coach who could replace Mircea Lucescu.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, former Dynamo Kyiv footballer Oleksandr Aliyev answered the question why he refuses to switch to Ukrainian.
